October 1st has been set to be the first International Coffee Day by the ICO (International Coffee Organisation). This is an occasion to celebrate coffee as beverage, promote fair trade coffee and raise awareness for the plight of coffee growers. On this day, a lot of businesses offer free or discounted coffee. Although different countries celebrate the national coffee day, every day is always a good day for a cup of coffee!
Australia is one of the largest consumers of coffee beans in the world with an increasing number of coffee enthusiasts, so we are proud to supply a range of products to boost brands and help them get noticed in this growing industry. Visit www.staroutdoor.com.au/cafe to view our Café Range and give your brand the star treatment it deserves.
We are celebrating International Coffee day at Star Outdoor and will be giving away a free branded golf umbrella with any orders placed in October.

Star Outdoor was a Gold sponsor at the LSV (Life Saving Victoria) 2015 Conference.
It was great to see so many clubs present at the conference and as this was Star Outdoor’s second time exhibiting and sponsoring the conference many delegates took the opportunity to visit our stand and discuss their requirements for the coming season.
Of particular interest were the SuperStar Marquees and the Nipper Banners.
Congratulations to Paul Schram of Torquay and Jenny Mauderer of Anglesea who took out the “Lucky Door” prize of a custom branded table cover.
Recently, The Coffee Club, sought our expertise to provide them with the BEST branding solutions for their important events.
We are always looking for an opportunity to provide our customers with the highest quality products and best customer experience.
We were happy to receive such a complimentary recommendation from The Coffee Club:
It is constantly a pleasure dealing with the team at Star Outdoor, due to both their great customer service and outstanding products. The materials purchased have been of the highest quality for such a great price. Whether it be a 1 or 3 day event, our branded outdoor products have looked perfect and have never let us down.
I would recommend Star Outdoor for the great value for money, their fast and efficient turnaround for organising deliveries and their helpful friendly staff!

Recently, the St Eugene College Parents and Friends Association (P&F) were awarded a 2014 SunSmart Grant of $2,372.50.
This amount of money plus more funding from the P&F, has enabled us to purchase six new Portable Sun Smart Shelters with matching Banners and Flags for each Spirit house. The Spirit Houses are Dunlea-Blue-Pelican; Mitchell-Red-Lorikeet; Ryan-Green-Bobook Owl; and Carroll-Gold-Kookaburra. These portable sun shelters are in the colours of red, blue, gold and green with their matching bird emblems.
The Principal had this to say, “ This will provide additional sun protection, for our students and community at all school and community activities. This project is part of the colleges continued focus, which values the importance of providing a safe learning environment. As a community we are very aware of the necessity to do all that is possible to reduce the exposure of the staff, students and our college community to ultra-violet radiation.”
The UPF50+ Marquees, Banners and Flags were designed and Manufactured by Star Outdoor who are endorsed by the Cancer Council. The Finance Secretary at St Eugene College was responsible for writing up the successful application for this Grant.
Star Outdoor Council endorsed UPF50+ Marquees meet the criteria, so call us now for your proposal!
The SunSmart Grants Scheme is an initiative developed by Council Queensland and the Department of Health to assist organisations who have limited funds to work towards sun safety. The scheme provides grants for not-for-profit community based organisations and schools, whose primary focus group is children aged 0-17 years, to help them improve sun protection measures and promote sun safe behaviour.
The scheme aims to support the prevention of skin cancer through the provision of support for the sustainable implementation of the organisation’s sun protection policy.
