The size required for your umbrella can be dependent on both your style and size preference as well as council restrictions. Local councils regulate how far your business can impose on council property and this extends to the overhang umbrellas have. Semi-Permanent umbrellas are available in either a square or octagonal shape. We offer valance options with both styles.

It is our recommendation for our umbrellas to be acquired in conjunction with their corresponding safety requirements.

We strongly recommend you secure your umbrellas to prevent injury or damage to property. Semi-Permanent umbrellas must be securely fixed into the ground by being bolted into fixtures such as concrete or decking.

It is our recommendation for umbrellas to be packed down during periods of severe winds and storms.

Adding LED lighting to your umbrella ensures ultimate practicality for day to nighttime use.

Secure strap:

We recommend using our Star Outdoor secure strap on your collapsed umbrella or when being stored to help mitigate potential damage.

Protective cover:

Highly suggested if your umbrella is used for the occasional event. Our protective covers will keep your umbrella safe from the elements and general wear and tear whilst in storage.

    Certainly! The fabric you choose changes how you clean them however all of our umbrellas are able to be cleaned so they’re looking good as new. Our PVC fabric is the easiest to clean. Our Permanent umbrellas are Scotchgard™ protected to help resist mould, mildew and other stains.

    Star Outdoor Permanent umbrellas are designed with the intention of staying erect all year round. They are the superior option for ease of use as you can simply set them up once, and then forget about them (however we do recommend you collapse them during times of severe weather). They do not require extra weight to secure them as they are already bolted into the ground. Our Permanent umbrellas have UPF50+ sun protection backing as a core feature.

    Yes, it’s easy! We offer a free artwork service. Just send us your logos and a brief description of how you’d like it to look and our creative designers will come up with various options which best represent your brand or message.
