How to Secure your Marquee

Classic Frame
- 1.8m x 1.8m - 40kg per leg
- 3m x 3m - 60kg per leg
- 3m x 4.5m - 95kg per leg
- 3m x 6m - 85kg per leg
Deluxe Frame
- 3m x 3m - 60kg per leg
- 4m x 4m - 75kg per leg

When using your marquee, it’s your 'duty of care' to secure it properly to maximise safety and reduce public safety liability.
In adverse weather please pack down your marquee, Star Outdoor does not take any responsibility for misuse or injury.
Pegs and Rope
The easiest way to secure your marquee is to utilise the set of rope and pegs that you will recieve with your marquee.
Tied Down to Pole
Can’t use pegs? Try securing your marquee with the rope to any fixed object.
Hammered in Peg
If you don’t want to use rope to secure your marquee, you can use the holes on the feet to secure using pegs.
Universal Weight Plates
If you wish to secure your marquee with additional weight, our universal weight plates (two-piece set, totalling in 20kg) or marquee weight bags.
Marquee Weight Bags
Comes empty, can fill with sand or with matieral of your choice.
Jugs
If you have water jugs, they are also viable anchor points to secure your marquee.
Sand Pegs
If your marquee is placed over sand, our sand pegs will be the right choice for you.

Setting up a custom marquee typically takes 5 minutes for smaller sizes and around 10 minutes for larger ones. Marquees come with easy-to-follow instructions and the Classic 32 can be set up with just two people. The Deluxe 40 marquee is heavier and may require additional hands for setup.

We have a spare parts sustainability program. We supply a full range of spare parts which you can replace yourself.
Yes, it’s easy! We offer a free artwork service. Just send us your logos and a brief description of how you’d like it to look and our creative designers will come up with various options which best represent your brand or message.
Our marquees are showerproof. The canopy has PU backing, double-stitched stitching and hot-taped seams. It can withstand showers, but we do not recommend keeping it out in a heavy storm or extended periods of rain. It is also important to ensure the canopy is clipped on correctly so that water runs off and does not collect and create a pool. Do not pack your canopy or walls away if they are wet as the colour may bleed. We recommend allowing the marquee to dry completely before storing it to promote longevity.
Star Outdoor canopies are made from 600D woven polyester with a PU backing. It is lightweight, durable and holds a UVE ARPANSA rating of 99%. Traditional marquees were made in vinyl, which is a heavy material and creases easily. Our 600D Polyester marquees are more resilient to wear and tear and stay looking better for longer!

- Our Classic marquee frames come with a Three-Year Warranty on manufacturing faults. It does not cover regular wear and tear, accidental damage or damage in storms and significant wind.

Fact: We have customers who have purchased marquees 8-10 years ago, with the frame still function and just needing a freshen up on the canopy!
