We strongly recommend you secure your umbrellas to prevent injury or damage to property. Semi-Permanent umbrellas must be securely fixed into the ground by being bolted into fixtures such as concrete or decking.
It is our recommendation for umbrellas to be packed down during periods of severe winds and storms.

Star Outdoor Permanent umbrellas are designed with the intention of staying erect all year round. They are the superior option for ease of use as you can simply set them up once, and then forget about them (however we do recommend you collapse them during times of severe weather). They do not require extra weight to secure them as they are already bolted into the ground. Our Permanent umbrellas have UPF50+ sun protection backing as a core feature.
