They are the superior option for ease of use as you can simply set them up once, and then forget about them (however we do recommend you collapse them during times of severe weather). They do not require extra weight to secure them as they are already bolted into the ground. Our Semi-Permanent umbrellas have UPF50+ sun protection backing as a core feature.
